Scout Sunday Observance, Kasey Currey Eagle Court of Honor – Jan. 31

A Scout is Reverent: Scout Sunday Observance, Kasey Currey Eagle Court of Honor – Jan. 31

The Boy Scouts of America designates the Sunday that falls before February 8 (Scouting Anniversary Day) as Scout Sunday, which is the primary date to recognize the contributions of young people and adults to Scouting.

This year, Troop 421 is observing Scout Sunday on January 31st.

This year is also very special because we have the honor of celebrating our newest Eagle Scout, Kasey Currey, after the Scout Sunday program.

“I’m having my Eagle Ceremony on January 31. I would like to invite you to join me if you can. I will be having the ceremony at the Covenant United Methodist Church on Duval Road. My scouting troop and the church will be having Scout Sunday during the 11:15 service. There will be a small brunch afterwards and the Eagle program will start at 1 pm. I hope to see you there.” – Kasey Curry
